360 Videos Can Now Be Uploaded to YouTube.
YouTube has just announced that 360 Videos can now be uploaded to their wildly popular video sharing site. This opens up new possibilities and ever evolving apps that take advantage of this new technology. Now everything in view can be recorded and viewed in glorious 360 degrees. Front, back, left, right, top, bottom. Nothing is missed. And viewers can look in any direction as the video is playing. Cool. You don’t need a VR headset to enjoy this. But soon, 360 video may be available in stereoscopic 3D on YouTube. While 3D 360 Photo stills and slideshows are great, 3D 360 Video is very hard to shoot without visible stitching seams, pseudo-stereoscopic effect and stereoscopic falloff. But who cares. The future is bright for those of you who want to feel like you are in present at the concert or at the ball game. The possibilities are endless. Girl VR.
